Sometimes Free and Always Fun

A few weeks ago, Angel Rogers and Tea Love shared a ton of activities that we can do with our children. The best part is, they're either free or inexpensive! Enjoy!

ALL THE TIME

The plaza provides convenient parking, picnic tables, telescopes, historic information, a commemorative monument and a radio that broadcasts air traffic control communications from the FAA tower while you watch planes land and take off.

Kids can feed the Trout for $.25 then head upstairs for a free fudge tasting. You will be greeted by a lion and rhino at the laser shooting range upstairs. There are also several galleries with life-sized animals (basically a mini museum) and a great aquarium where they have live feeding shows almost every day. You can also go catch and release fishing in their huge outdoor pond for free. Cabela’s has events year round for the family so be sure to check out the website frequently.

Artie’s Playhouse is a live, interactive theater for children by children! Local children and youth from our elite acting academy and surrounding cities provide high energy life lessons catered to children, yet entertaining for adults.
